Starman, Inc., also known as www.CzechBeads.com, is famous in beads industry for top quality source of Czech glass beads, CzechMates, TOHO seed beads… In 2017, Miyuki Oitate was selected as member of TrendSetter – a program created by Starman to help bead stores educate and inspire their customers in order to build a stronger beading community for generations to come. She was asked to define new techniques and generate new style to demonstrate the variety of ways Starman beads can be used in works of art.
Bracelet design by TrendSetter Miyuki Oitate was chosen to feature new beads (Prong, Cabochon) from Starman at “To Bead True Blue” Show in Tucson, Arizona.
We were pleased to have “Queen of the Night Bracelet” as “Take & Make” along with poster for the show. This project was distributed only to bead stores and available online to beaders everywhere.
Her necklace design “Pendant and Rope” was also introduced in Starman’s 2017 new product catalog.
